  A few months ago, I just finished two costumes at once, namely Twisted Wonderland - Riddle Rosehearts Uniform and also BNHA - Shoto Todoroki with his vampire costume for Halloween. 

    For these two costumes, I actually only do a few parts, for example vests with shirts and ties, then the rest such as suits, pants and robes are stored items that has been around for a long time. So, you could say the making of these two costumes is fairly fast because the material already exists just to be added according to the desired design.

Twisted Wonderland - Riddle Rosehearts Costume Set

    The reason I made Riddle and Shoto's costumes together is because they have the same color scheme, which makes it easy for me to mix and match the types of fabrics for both. I have several types of fabrics for them, there are sateen velvet, sateen bridal and jacquard, both glitter and emboss.

   The red color for them looks somewhat the same, but it turns out to have differences, such as for Riddle the red used is Crimson/Red while for Shoto red is Scarlet/Garnet. If I'm honest, this is the last stock I have in my fabric storage box for red. So there were some textures that I actually didn't like to wear, but I ended up using because of the limited materials.

Detail Material on Costume

    For the red cloth on the Riddle vest is jacquard fabric with hero furing. To be honest, the texture of this fabric is quite "fancy" to be used as a school uniform but because of the matching color details, I finally used the material. (I feel this material is more suitable for evening parties, or something special, if used for daily purposes such as uniforms, it seems not okay. P.S : it is in my opinion to put myself as a Riddle with this type of material used in daily activities).

    The material of the suit and pants as usual from wool with a deep black color. I used gold/vynil faux leather fabric for his golden bias tape. I chose this because I have seen many Twisted Wonderland cosplayers with the same details. The shirt uses ordinary materials such as cotton and for the tie has a blend of materials from the stock I have. The basis is a rather black fabric and sewn with white sateen bias tape.

Wig Cosplay

    I used Takoya Weiwei's wig brand for Riddle's wig base, then styled it in such a way plus dyed half of the wig with acrylic paint mixed with alcohol. The color is not very visible in this catalog, but when you look closely there are different color gradations for the upper and lower wig.

    I also had a character wig from this brand and my expectations were still the same as before. This wig is very thick and takes time to thin and pull out some wefts so that the wig I want does not look bulky when styling. I styled twice for this Riddle wig, because I've tried on the wig and don't like the first shape. Indeed I had a lot to practice to style them, because what we see good on a mannequin head sometimes needs to be adjusted back on a real human head.
