 Yor Forger Casual Looks

    I think last month there was an order coming in with a special request to make Yor Forger's headband for its casual looks. I did a little research from the incoming customer data and a brief research on head circumference, finally I decided to make this product en masse (currently only two pieces are available). The product has been uploaded to the e-commerce store, if you are interested in buying, I will include the link below.

    I use a bridal sateen fabric with gold buttons and elastic rubber on the back of the head. For the details of the line on Yor's headband, I sewed it manually using black embroidered thread. I think it will be a little difficult to make this as a bulk product, so I only provide limited stock.

 May 2022 - Batch 1

    Hi, I would like to thank all the customers who have shopped at my e-commerce store in this first batch in May 2022. I was able to reach these numbers (18 orders), thank to you. To be honest I will make a day-off store arrangement in the second half of the month, since I am going to have a holiday, I think this recharge is a good idea.

    I was always excited when I got the incoming order notification and I arranged for the order to be sent to the delivery service. I think there are still many things that can still be achieved in the future, hopefully I can still consistently live this store so that I can reach a wider market and of course can complete orders well.

    To be frank, some of the products that entered this month are pre-order, it feels like I haven't received orders like this for a long time. I don't forget to mention my overseas buyers who shopped in my store. I think the numbers of buyers were increase this month. Anyway, I'll share a photo of each order here.

 April E-Commerce Order

    Out of a total of thirty orders, there were two buyers who contacted via DM regarding their problems with their package. The first person said there was damage to the ordered goods (it had reached the buyer's hands) and the second was the person who wanted to cancel the order regarding not updating the e-commerce system with the delivery process.

    These two problems have different ways of solving. In the first case, I replaced the damaged product with a new one with postage borne by the seller (my store). I feel responsible because this buyer is a customer who shops more than once in the store.

    In the second case, the buyer wants to cancel the goods that have been sent due to the slow delivery process and there is a statement that the order will arrive at that date where the goods are still not arrived. In this case, I as a seller tried to contact the delivery service through their WhatsApp Business and also their Call Center. The response from the delivery service was good and I immediately informed the buyer about the existence of the package.

    In the first case, the buyer did not tell further about the replacement item arrival in their hands, so I checked through the receipt and it turned out to have reached their destination safely within two days (counter guards say this package will be completed within five to nine days). I hereby assume the first case is over.

    In the second case, after communicating with the buyer and forwarding information from the delivery service, the buyer had no complaints and the delivery process went successfully and smoothly until the buyer immediately confirmed the goods were received and gave a five-star rating to my e-commerce store.

What is "star seller" ?

    After reading several articles, I concluded that the star seller is an "appreciation tag" given by one of the market place to sellers who have met the criteria to become a star seller. The criteria that must be met include sales with 10 different buyers, net income exceeding several million per 30 days, maximizing the feature of replying to buyer chats (above 65%), not / have less than one penalty point and store assessments above 4.50.

Why I didn't join "star seller" program ?

    Earlier this May I was notified that my store could enter the star seller program after a weekly assessment. At first I was quite surprised, because this is one of the achievements that sellers can get in market places such as e-commerce. This also proves that I am serious about this business.

    Before I was invited to join the program, I read many articles about the advantages and disadvantages of this program and in the end I decided not to join the program at this time. Honestly, getting this appreciation tag is an honor but there are other things I want to get in other fields, so I'm not interested in joining this program.

    Another thing that supports my decision is the posting of my mutuals on SNS when they entered the program and it turned out to have a lot of admin and service fees. To be honest, I try to achieve a satisfactory profit margin for my store, so that I as a seller and maker of accessories can survive with the income from the sales proceeds. 

P.S: Admin fees for ordinary stores and star sellers are different, so it is also a consideration when invited to join this program. If you feel that sales are sluggish or there is a new product that you want to promote, we can use the advertising feature by paying a few rupiah per day (determine your market and capital before activating this feature).

E-Commerce Order in April 2022

What is your purpose in doing business?

    I am not a person with a business/management background, but indirectly have entered this field and have been doing it for almost a year. There is a market that I want to reach in the future and to achieve that I have to try to raise some funds and re-strategize in entering the market. The final result that I want to get is of course a stable income / at least it can cover monthly expenses and and can be saved some for emergency funds.

    There are still many things I want and can do as someone with an art background. I also learned a lesson on entrepreneurship and this is also in the lessons I got at school. Of course with this experience, I hope to develop my business even more outside to foreign markets (outside Asia) and be able to develop more products in the future. Furthermore, with the crafting skills I have, I hope to make many products that are useful for buyers, both from cosplayers and from the public.

Milestone on E-Commerce's Sales

    This is my first time having 30 pcs product sold in my e-commerce store in one month sales. I guess I've reach one of my bucket list in 2022. I've been dreaming about this milestone since last year and it was happened in April. I wanna thank all the buyers, who's buying my products and also the one who's giving a five stars rating for the products sold (It helps another potential buyer to choose the product / before they place an order in my store).

    On this month sale,I've four international buyers and the rest is from local (Indonesia). Most of the local buyers come from Java Island and some of them from Kalimantan. The reason why I made this blog entry on this week is because because all packages have arrived at the respectful  buyer, hence I think this's the right time to share my story.

    Among those package, there're two problems here. The first one is because the products were defect in the delivery process (I've sent the repair products as a sign of apology to the buyer) and the second one caused by the delay in delivery due to the long holiday of Ramadhan, thus in the system there is no clarity about the package, thereby the buyer contacted me via DM regarding the return (I contacted the delivery service to explain the clarity of the system and the case ended well, the package has reached the buyer safely).

    Actually, I was surprised by this achievement because I didn't expect the product I made a few months ago, finally got a lot of buyers this April. That's why my store sales have increased because of this reason. I am very grateful to all the buyers who have given their trust to my store, so that I can reach this milestone in April.
