It's my first experience to pay vehicle taxes & replace the old vehicle number registration at one-stop administration service office. Sure, I lack of information because this was all done by my parents previously. To be honest, I was really surprised by obligation that was thrust upon me suddenly (thank mom & dad).
At least let me know that I have to pay for this myself, so I can prepare a lot of money ahead of time. It's really sad and shocking, but it can't be helped I guess. I was asked to pay for it, so I had to let it go and realized that this month there was a lot of spending going on.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED : REPLACING THE OLD VEHICLE NUMBER REGISTRATION NUMBER
"Payment of motorized vehicle tax provided that the vehicle is in good condition accompanied by the motorized vehicle owner's book, vehicle registration certificate, and identity card in the form of the original resident identity card of the vehicle owner". Article source : https://bit.ly/3tnOZO5
I am one of those people who seek as much information as possible before doing something. On the same day when my parents told me to do my duty as an adult, I immediately looked for many articles regarding payments, motorcycle checking systems to the final process of getting a new vehicle number.
I was often fooled by the officers (police) and said to be too serious and a coward by my parents. In my honest opinion, it would be better to be careful because I looked like a schoolgirl and didn't seem to know much information.
I prepared documents as mentioned in the article, plus added blue folder because the vehicle to be inspected is a two-wheeled. All the documents checked by the officer, so don't forget to prepare everything. You must also bring the original document of the motorized vehicle ownership book as well as the original motorized vehicle owner's identity card.
P.S : There is a canteen to buy a folder, in case you forget to bring it (blue folder for two-wheleed vehicle and red folder for four-wheeled vehicle).
PROCESS REQUIRED AT ONE-STOP ADMINISTRATION SERVICE OFFICE
This is an activity done for payment vehicle taxes & replace the old vehicle registration number for two wheels.
1. Check the physical condition of the vehicle (there are officers and you will be given a paper to fill in according to the vehicle data).
2. Put the paper filled with all the documents I wrote above into the vehicle condition check counter, prepare the original motorized vehicle manual when the officer calls your name.
3. Enter the main building and head to the reception desk, which is located to the right of the entrance.
4. The staff will direct you to the registration desk for further checking.
5. After the documents are checked, you are directed to the bank outside the building for payment of vehicle tax (payment depends on the number of vehicles you have, for example : the more vehicles you have, means the more expensive the tax you pay).
6. Return to the main building and go to the registration counter to take the queue number (the officer will ask about the owner of the vehicle, if you are still a family, then you do not need a power of attorney to follow this process).
7. Wait for your number to be called and go to the cashier's counter after the officer's directions on the microphone.
8. Make payments according to your motor vehicle data collection and wait for your number to be called to get a new vehicle number at the counter on the right side.
9. Take your new vehicle number at the counter provided.
CONCLUSION : NEW EXPERIENCE & AWARE ABOUT TAX VEHICLE
Honestly, this is my first time paying vehicle tax and replacing my old vehicle registration number. The vehicle I use is in my father's name, but I use it often because it was given as a gift for my seventeenth birthday. It really turns out that being an adult you don't only use a vehicle, but also care about taking care of vehicle documents and taxes and also taking care of your vehicle's engine.
