Who're you ?

    I'm a new worker entering a new division of a silver jewelry company. The company is engaged in silver jewelry by having a workplace tour, silver jewelry making class and museum, also sell a variety of silver jewelry specially designed with local wisdom Balinese culture. I'm in charge of curating items that are in museum (I don't have any special certification yet, but passed the HR interview & owner on the same day //cry//) and I'm under direct supervision by the owner. 

    For the display process and others, I always ask for the opinion of my coworker in the marketing division both from friends in the graphic design team, interior design, marketing communication (marcomm) as well as store manager & marketing manager. As long as I work here, I have many opportunities to work out of work. Sometimes I see the photoshoot of products with talent and being a helper. At other times I become a talent in video campaign (certainly adjust to the task I'm working on).

New Produk Campaign - Silver Jewelry 

    To be honest, marcomm here is very much in line with the idea that will be used in the new product campaign - search models and fashion - until the end of the campaign process in the form of product videos to catalog photos. I'm here to be a helper in the process of making photos and videos of upcoming silver jewelry campaign product.

BTS I : Clothing for Talent

    The products that will be launched next are still related to the wisdom of local culture. So, that the selection of clothes for talent is also adapted to the theme. We're used Sumba Abstract Kimono Dress of Terbuai from Phangsanny. We went to Ubud area to pick up products after the cooperation of both parties, although this is not the first time to Ubud, it feels good to see a lot of artwork on the side of the road and not forgetting its natural beauty.

BTS II : The Day of Photoshoot

    The place for this photoshoot is Tenganan Pegringsingan Village which is located in Manggis District, Karangasem Regency to the east of Bali Island. This is quite far from the location of our office in Celuk Village - Gianyar, we departing via road of Bypass Ida Bagus Mantra with an estimated time up is about an hour (you can go the other way too, but it's going to take a lot of time).

    Makeup and costume changes were performed at the office with the help of the MUA on that day. This aims to shorten the time of starting photoshoot when arriving at the shooting location. For me, this is the first experience of working with a professional team in their field. Our team consists of photographer, assistant photographer, marcomm, MUA, me as a helper and office friend who drives the vehicle so that we can safely reach the destination both office and away.

    The trip started in the morning, arrived at the location at 9 a.m and went home around 4 p.m after having lunch and took photoshoot for the second session. The obstacle in this event is the weather, because in March 2019 there is often quite high rainfall and we were told by the guide (local people) we're in a pretty high place and around the forest, so the chance of rain will be inevitable. Thankfully everything was done safely, the photoshoot was satisfactory and we made it home safely to the office.

    The graphic design as well as marcomm will cooperate in the editing process, our photographer also play a role in the video editing process. Here I learned about teamwork where communication is very important, the products to be released must also be able to convey the ideas and objectives of designer both through visual and print media, all of them must synergize so as to achieve the desired goals.
