Hi ! today I'll share my experience using WINNER Official Lighstick 2 (japan version) Vs. WINNER Official Lightstick 1 (korean version). I personally, once held and briefly tried the official lightstick korean version 1 during a concert in Jakarta and I just have the Japan Lightstick Version 2. 

So, it was the 4th anniversary of boygroup WINNER in 2018 and they released another official lightstick which is japan version. It's very unique, because the shape "4" and letter "W" on it's head. I really like how YG's upgrade their merchandise. I love how bright the color is and even light to carry, but unfortunatelly it is very short when compared to LS that were released before. I think the bright caused by three AAA batteries to support the LS, since the korean version just require two AAA batteries.

You can see it clearly, how difficult to see the "W" sign when turn on the Japan Lightstick Version 2. So, the conclusion is, you need to buy another merch like "jacket" glitter acc of W signature (it has four different color to indicate WINNER members color tho). I heard, an IC can brought two-three official LS Ver. 1 (korean version), because the color it's bit faint /cmiiw/.

The final comparison between Korean LS (Version 1) Vs. Japan LS (Version 2) :

1. The price : Japan lightstick is more expensive than the korean version.

2. The box of lightstick : I prefer the korean version cz it has proper box rather than the japan version, which only come in plastick with W sign in the paper.

3. Battery instalation : It's easier to put the battery in japan lightstick. U need to pull out the battery cover in the back of lightstick and install the battery (they've ribbon, so it's easy to pull it out). It's different from korean lightstick, the battery instalation is inside the body. You can open it from the bottom and be careful when cut open the plastic body. (Some ICs, use card to split it). 

4. Brightness : This newest version of lightstick which is japan version number 2 has more brightness rather than the korean version.

5. Strap : You'll get WINNER strap in korean lightstick.

5. On/Off Button : You need to long press the on/off button for japan lightstick version 2.

6. Body shape : Korean version has round shape around the grip and higher body, while the japan version is more angular and short.
