First of all, I wanna thank the God and BPJS Ketenagakerjaan plus Denpasar City Social Service for help in the middle of pandemic. For me, this kind of program was really helpful for us (the lay-off workers) a lot. Yash, starting April 2020 I was lay-off workers and have no income ofc but don't worry, I still have savings to survive the next few months. 

        I see an article "Make Sure the Basic Needs of Food is Right on Target, Kasat Polkrat Denpasar Police Coordinate with Social Affairs" and it's written that : "In response to the Head of Denpasar Social Services I Made Mertajaya, S. Sos, MM explained, the distribution of basic food assistance was carried out in stages and spread in four districts by targeting beneficiary families (KPM), the elderly, disability, people in monitoring (ODP), PDP families, day laborers, lay-off workers, and laid-off workers".         I asked the person who helping the distribution of groceries at the office about the possibility of help for another lay-off workers like me and that Sir said that : "it might be help for them in the future. For today (14/05/2020) i see just a few of us who's in the list". Therefor, I hope another lay-off workers like me will get a help from the goverment as well.

"What is BPJS Ketenagakerjaan ?"

       Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Sosial (BPJS) Ketenagakerjaan is a public legal body tasked to protect all workers with 4 social security programs. The Government is held responsible for and obliged to implement this national social security program – so as to provide social-economic protection to the people. The program is, however, implemented in view of the financial capacity of the Government. Indonesia, like other developing countries, is developing social security program based on funded social security. It means that the participants will finance the social security.        The Social Service has the task of carrying out part of regional government affairs based on the principle of autonomy and the task of assistance in the social field.
